There is always a yard sale, where they can sell some of their toys or clothes that they don’t use anymore. Or how about a lemonade stand? My girls would help me bake cookies and we would sell them with the lemonade at their stand.
Hope they have fun!
any other family? if they make cute faces or bat their eyes abit they could get some cash out of them. in the end, adults always have to pay up.
CHORES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My grand daughters ( 8 and twins at 10) do the following (and have been for 3 years); make their own beds, clean their own rooms, remove their clothes from the dryer, fold/put away their own clothes, vacuum, dust, set the table for meals, clean the table off after meals, load dishes in the dishwasher, pull weeds, rake leaves and pick up dog poop from the yard. Sometimes they even help with preparing meals.
Everytime they do something extra – they receive some marbles (in a jar) and as soon as the jar is full – they get a special ‘mommy’ or ‘daddy’ date.
