So we’ve already talked about how profitable it can be if you went into the candle making business. Now the time comes to talk about what to do exactly. Are there any candle making tutorials out there? How does one make a candle, really? You might probably be even wondering if a teen like you can do something that seems so complicated. Aren’t they done in factories, somewhere, in a totally different world that you don’t even know exists? Are there are any secrets to a successful candle making business?

Well, it might not exactly include some Harry Potter magic, but yes, you can make candles on your own. Trust me. You just need to have the right materials first, and then some courage and a sense of adventure to dive into this completely new thing, and concentration. Probably the easiest thing to make is a container candle – in which you just melt wax, pour them in a container (one that you will sell, presumably), put in a wick, and wait until it solidifies.

And then there are hand-dipped candles, which is more tedious but is a lot of fun, and then there are differently designed candles, which takes a lot of imagination and skill. Never fear though. Learning to do something new is always a great virtue, and keep in mind that this one would help you earn money!
