i did but it doesn’t help it sais $0 , it also sais that only over 18 you can get paid, under 18 you get nothing. or should i start an acount i have paypal acount and i need to make some extra “pocket money”
With AC you do need a paypal account to get paid by them. And I don’t think that they’re going to check to see how old you are.
As long as your work is good then, that’s the most important thing. If age thing is really an issue, then try to get your parents or an older sibling or other relative to help you. Get a little inspiration from reading this story.
After you sign up with AC and submit one of your poems to them, they will reply back to you and tell you how much they can offer you for it. Then, you can start earning pocket money from your poems. Try it to see how it works.

Jees Ive been looking paid writing websites and it is hard to find them. But luckily i have found a few. AC is one. And another three are:
www.hubpages.com – uses google adsense for payment!!!
www.helium.com – another paid website (SERJEY YOU DONT HAVE TO BE 18 ON THIS WEBSITE!!!!) also uses paypal!
www.triond.com – another paid writing website uses paypal!

AC doesn’t pay upfront for poetry. They pay upfront for articles, but not poetry or prose. Additionally, you have to be 18 to receive payment from AC as well. I love AC, but I don’t want anyone to be surprised when they discover they can’t get paid until they are 18 or that poetry will not pay upfront.

You will be paid based on the amount of views that your poetry generates. If your poem generates a lot of views then you will make that much more. At the same time if your work doesn’t generate a lot of interest, you don’t make as much. That being said, even if you don’t make a lot, you’re still getting paid for something you love and already do. I think that’s a pretty good deal.
There were two websites on the list, AC and online publishing. I was wondering wich one most people like more.

linh, right. You have to be 18. BUT, you could always get an older sibling or a parent to help you out and have them sign up for the account for you. And they can collect the money for you.
what you don’t get is, AC doesn’t pay people under 18… trust me, i submitted a BUNCH of things on there and each one said i couldn’t receive payment until i was 18 … it sucked!
tiffany one thing you can do is get an older sibling or relative to sign up for an account and then submit through them and pay you the money you make.

Asma, what you’ll need to do is go to the AC site and sign up. You can do that by clicking on the link for AC in the article above. They pay you via paypal and you can write in any genre you like. Good luck!
dnt hv a paypal acccount…infact no bank account…dont any sites pay the users directly through post or something…
If you want to make money online then at the bare minimum you need to get a paypal account and a bank account. These are the methods that a lot of sites use to pay you. A few send you check thru the mail but then how would you cash the check with no bank account?

Amber, You don’t necessarily need a bank account to cash a check. You can always cash the check at the bank it’s drawn from with an ID Card or Driver’s License. And there is another really good way for teen-agers to earn money without spending $$, It’s called Article Marketing. You can easily make A LOT of money just by writing articles about your favorite products! How hard could that be? In fact, you don’t even NEED a PayPal account!

PayPal only allows those who are 18 years old and above to register for an account so you might want to get the help of your parents for that. To be sure you can look around AC and get a feel of the site so you'll know what to expect before signing up for an account. Well doesn't AC pay per click? i mean, that same old system where a massive 1000 views give a dollar? I made an account on AC! got a poem published but then had just 2 views! making friends is just time consuming! so is selecting favourites and all! I wanna know how do you get payed just for publication! I don't find that on AC! So is there any special check box or an option i gotta choose? Help! (asking this cuz this article claims a pay of 3-20$)
