allowence..asking your parents if they are willing to let you do work and they pay you..chores..gettin good grades and gettin awarded wit money for them (:
well if your in a big city type place a lemonade stand or a cookie stand or a candy stand would make a ton of money!!!!
I don’t have websites but this is what my kids did to earn money from me:
wash the cars
help me with the lawn work
If we did a garage sale or something I’d always make a bunch of lemonade and cookies and let the kids sell them during the sale and keep the cash.
My kids do these things:
Collect cans.
Do basic chores for the elderly in our neighborhood.
Put all of their unused and outgrown things in our yard sales.
Have kool-aide stands.
Wash cars.
Do yard work.
Walk dogs.
My kids keep themselves in spending money by doing these things The key is to be willing to work for money.
I agree with Michelle on top:
Landscape Work
Yard Sale
Beverage or Popcycle Stand”Summer”
Dog Walker
Car Wash
Bake Sale goes along with Beverage & Pop but then again your using your own money to buy these things not sure if these weigh out more on your side, lol but it’s a good quality time making and baking these items with your kids and getting it prepared together as a family…Good Luck on what ever you decide..
….awwh..Girl Guides….?
garage sales, lemonade stands, donations, mowing lawns, chores
maybe help around the house like doing some chores like helping with laundry, or taking out the garbage/recycling
Try haveing them clean your house, their rooms… things like that then at the end of the week give them 10 bucks for what they did.
Have them be house maids sorta
allowance..asking your parents if they are willing to let you do work and they pay you..chores..getting good grades and gettin awarded wit money for them (:
hey
do a carboot sale and chores around the house- if your mom/dad can afford
you could do things like save cans and take them to your nearest recycling place, that’s what i do because i live right beside one. : D
do what i do to my kids… beat them with a stick! only joking!
have them do chores and give the money for it. eg:
car clean:$7
clean house:$10
clean garage:$20
yard chores:$50
Ect…
if you live near a lake breed worms
well, what i would do is:
Pet Daycares(when a nieghbor or something is out of town watch their pets)
Mail person (post your name and phone number in your neighborhood and get mail for nieghbors when out of town, or busy)
Lawn service (help family or neighbors with work in the yard)
Can collecting (ask family, or neighbors to leave their cans by their house in a bag, and you can recycle them)
Fod stands (set up food stands with average food from your house like chips, or cookies, and set it up)
Drink stands (on warm day set up a stand with cold beverages)
Host a “carnival” for your brothers & Sisters. Have them shoot their pennies in a can and if they make it give’em a dime (if they make it on their first try give them a nickel). When your done with that collect all the pennies. (of course you dont have to play with pennies, that was just the original plan) Get CREATIVE with the games, the sky is the limit!!
i am 13 and i live out of town and i cant do many of these things because my parents dont let me. what should i do?
You can always help out around the house, Kate, I think your parents will appreciate that
If you want to be more creative, you can make some coupons with denominations on them and distribute it to your family members. For example, one coupon says "Saturday Lawn Mower service by Kate for $1" or "Washing the Dishes $2 + Free Hug from Kate". That way, chores are also fun to do for you!
my kids colect bottels on the street and put them in that thing ythat gives them 5 cents back
I think that's a good practice. Thanks for the suggestion, Julia! Not only do your kids do their part in helping clean the environment, they make extra bucks, too!
my parents always tell me that if I bring home good grades they'll give me some money or increase my allowance. now that's a great incentive!
also when we do spring cleaning around the house I gather some of my old stuff and try to sell them in a garage sale.
That's a great way of doing it, Lauren! But always remember that studying hard is something that you really have to do for yourself, even if money is a good motivator
